Week TWENTY-FIVE in 25 words: beach, goodbyes, Lucy, work, walking, Susan, goodbyes, friends, kayaking, BLTAs, praying, reading, memorizing, swimming, gold medal ribbon, guitars, coffee, shopping, beach, walking, mom, dad, & Freddy.
Walking with Susan, seeing the place where we both got married (on different days, of course) and praying for each other. ❤
Tissues + a glass of wine = an easier time with saying goodbye. It was hard holding back the tears. It’s surreal that this was the last time we got to sit with Bret’s parents in that house. 😦
Friends. Tony & Tiffany are wonderful friends and a sight for sore eyes. Sitting, kayaking, and drinking margaritas with them was just what the doctor ordered.
Martins & Taylors.
I love him so.
Goodbye also meant Hello to some of Bret’s childhood keepsakes and toys.
Jr. High Beach Day/Scripture Memorization! We swam for hours, ate starbursts and popcorn, drank pacific coolers, and discussed Psalm 19. SO fun!
Psalm 19: “The heavens declare the glory of God and the sky above proclaims his handiwork..”
Enjoy week 26, friends!
